Data & Benchmarking

What are the real lived experiences of employees within your organization?

Creating an effective DEI strategy means starting with a true understanding of your culture and the key challenges to creating a more inclusive workplace.

RADAR Diagnostics Tool

Our flagship diagnostic tool is used to assess the position of your organization in relation to inclusion.

The purpose of RADAR is to enable organizations to set a benchmark from which to monitor growth and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and initiatives. This includes getting insights into the lived experiences of your employees from across the business, within specific departments and functions or even regions.

When it comes to inclusion, there is no one-size-fits-all. This is why our RADAR tool is always tailored to the needs of an individual organization and their areas of focus when it comes to both strategic business and DEI objectives. RADAR is a great tool to benchmark current approaches across multiple diversity strands against best practice, but it can also be used to deep-dive into specific areas of concern or gaps in understanding and knowledge – especially when it comes to the lived experiences of different minority groups within the organization.

The resulting RADAR report consists of both findings and business-critical recommendations and completely considers the context of your sector and industry, while taking into account the current stage of your inclusion journey. The report will be mindful of practical application within your particular organization and the opportunities that exist to adapt, innovate and supercharge the work already being undertaken to maximize effectiveness and measurable outcomes.

The recommendations are practical to implement and easy to measure.

RADAR usually consists of 3 main components which can be tailored depending on your specific goals

HR Review

A review of HR policies, processes and data collection practices across the full scope of the HR function as they relate to support and building an inclusive work culture.

Quantitative Data Analysis

We use quantitative data taken from employees to highlight key issues which are affecting diverse groups within the organization and isolate the trends which may be impacting the move towards a more inclusive internal culture.

Qualitative Data Analysis

We facilitate qualitative data from specific populations to understand employees’ lived experiences of inclusion within the organization.

As well as focusing on diverse groups, we can also look at where inclusive practices are not being supported within your organization by understanding the challenges and fears of the majority at different levels. This helps you understand where obstructions to progress may exist and how best to reduce resistance across different DEI initiatives.

What does RADAR examine?

Our RADAR benchmarking tool takes a 360-degree look at diversity, equity and inclusion in practice within your organization. This includes looking at the following key aspects:

Recruitment & Retention

The internal process you use to hire new talent and specifically how well diverse talent is likely to be retained within your organization in comparison to other employees.

Attraction

How attractive your organization is as a place to work for diverse talent and your brand reputation when it comes to support for diversity, equity and inclusion.

Development

The effectiveness of internal talent development programs and initiatives when it comes to your high potential diverse employees.

Accountability

The way inclusion is supported within your organization and aligned to strategic objectives.

Resourcing

How effectively and efficiently the strands of your diversity and inclusion efforts are coordinated to provide maximum benefit and impact for diverse employees.
